Liz & Will’s classic and timeless Hall Place Bexley wedding, captured by My Beautiful Bride
Morning lovelies! These two beauties are lighting up my wedding blogging world today! Liz & Will married at one of the south east’s best kept secrets: lovely Hall Place. Their black tie wedding is elegant and sophisticated, with romantic and fresh pink table styling and a clean, modern look. Liz is STUNNING in her gorgeous dress from Blackburn Bridal Couture, and Will’s suit is perfect: these two are made for each other! The day is full of love and wonderfully happy vibes – and I just think it’s perfect escapism for a blustery Monday!

How did you choose your photographer?
Michael was the photographer at my brothers wedding two years before. Not only did we love the photos he did for their wedding but we also loved Michael himself and knew we would want him to photograph our big day
Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
Michael was absolutely brilliant and took the time to understand us as a couple and what we wanted/didn’t want for our photos. (We met for a coffee beforehand and were kindly gifted a preshoot from my sister in law- something I’d highly recommend) On the day he was the perfect mix of friendly yet professional and we couldn’t have been happier with how the photos turned out.
Videographer details if applicable – and any thoughts for other couples about having a wedding video?
We were unsure whether to have a videographer but in the end we thought why not as we wouldn’t regret it but we might have regretted not getting one. I’m so glad we did as there were so many moments that you miss during the day- from each other getting ready in the morning, to each other arriving in the church, to moments between friends and family but having a videographer allows you to see these moments and they are so special.
Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?
We got married at Hall Place in Bexley and it’s 5 minutes from where I grew up. We always went there as a family and had such lovely times there. I always loved how beautiful the house and grounds were. My husband knew this and actually booked it up as a surprise before we got engaged!
Did you love wearing your outfits? How was the dress / suit shopping experience?
We both absolutely loved our outfits and felt amazing in them- but also comfortable at the same time which I think is important. I went wedding dress shopping with my sister in law and my mum. It was my nieces first day at nursery and my sister in law needed distracting so we thought it was the perfect way to take her mind off it! It was the second dress I tried on and I knew it was the one as I didn’t want to take it off!
My husband went shopping with my cousin (who is a model so knew the suit maker!) and had a lot of fun trying on suits and finding the perfect one for him.
Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness
We hired a florist who was recommended to us by a friend. We met with them to discuss our vision for the day and colour schemes. We went for blush pink to complement our dove grey theme.
As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?
We were really lucky with our cake – being that my sister in law is a brilliant baker and offered to do our cake for us. We had a naked cake and people couldn’t believe it when we said that my sister in law had baked it! She did a great job.
What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?
We started off dancing to Beyoncé’s love on top and then finished off with Candy by Cameo with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen joining in. We’ve always loved Beyoncé’s song and candy reminded us of many a good night out so it felt like the perfect mix
