How are you coping, lovely? Here at English Wedding HQ it’s all about the stir crazy today… I’m hoping to take 5 mins in the garden for a little sunshine later! Inspired by London’s character and diversity coupled with {10-11} Carlton House Terrace’s classical style, I sought to design a concept that celebrates chic, contemporary couples who are not adverse to traditionalism.

Working with Fiona Kelly Photography and {10-11} Carlton House Terrace, we wanted to showcase the versatility of the venue and to create a shoot that can serve as inspiration for modern couples who have not only chosen the UK as their home but also the location in which to begin the next chapter of their love story.

Kate Wren Flowers produced magnificent foam-free floral focal points above the fireplace (that became a gorgeous ceremony backdrop), at the bottom of the staircase, hanging foliage from the top of the stairs and lovely centerpieces that complimented the simple tablescape and tasteful cake by Sugared Saffron beautifully.

Morgan Davies Bridal provided us with a stunning Ersa Atelier ‘Dotterine’ ivory lace ball gown that juxtaposed the models afro perfectly, offering a fresh twist on the traditional silhouette. The bridal styling complemented the clean-cut navy 3-piece suit by Keye London.

The understated yet elegant stationery by Dimitria Jordon, rings crafted by Nikki Stark and heels by Charlotte Mills perfected the shoot and will hopefully give couples lots of inspiration for their special day.
