A breathtaking barn wedding transformation in delicate blues and golds

This. This is one of the loveliest shoots I’ve seen in my EXACTLY 10 years of being a wedding blogger. (Because yes, I’ve just realised English Wedding was born on November 16th, 2009 and it’s our birthday week!) It seems the perfect opportunity to share something very special with you all.
The location is The Railway Barn at New Hall Vineyards. The concepts and styling are by lovely Hayley Jayne Weddings & Events, and images were captured so beautifully by Terri and Lori. I adore Jess’s dress – a stunning design from the inimitable St Patrick brand, loaned from Turner & Pennell in Rayleigh.
Petal and Wild‘s flowers make this shoot exceptional. The breathtaking structures, the cool and breezy palette, the blooms nestled amongst the balloons… and oh, while we’re on THAT subject will you just look at this beauty?! It’s by the spectacularly creative Fable & Moon. (You’re going to want to check out Sophie’s insta! – she’s all kinds of amazing!)
Words by Hayley Jayne Weddings & Events
“My inspiration behind this shoot was to offer couples marrying within relaxed low key venues styling ideas that will transform their chosen venue.
The most rewarding element of being a wedding planner is seeing a couple’s vision come to life. I therefore wanted to offer inspiration to couples marrying in relaxed rustic venues, showing how elegant styling and an exquisite colour palette can literally transform a venue.
Nestled amongst the beautiful grounds of New Hall Vineyards, The Railway Barn oozes with rustic charm, and was the perfect blank canvas venue in which I could put my creative skills to work.
Working with a selection of the finest wedding suppliers, all of whom used my chosen colour palette of muted blue, paired with luxury gold tones as inspiration and created the most breathtaking results. With the show stopping deconstructed floral arch and striking meadow taking centre stage.
You’ll find all of those fabulous suppliers listed below the images. But for now, settle back and scroll slowly because there’s something incredibly beautiful in every single image you’re about to see.

I love everything about this shoot! I love the kids area, and the fairy lights against the wall, it all looks so simple and yet stunningly romantic.
