Today we’re sharing the loveliest peony-filled wedding style inspiration from a super talented bunch of creative suppliers in Essex. The venue is Old Brook Barn – a beautifully restored 17th century barn surrounded by meadows in the Essex countryside. The look is light and feminine, with gold accents and special touches to give a luxurious look to a summer wedding. The day was styled by lovely wedding planner Hayley Jayne and captured beautifully by Terri & Lori. Read on for a full supplier list. Oh, and isn’t this little guy the cutest?!

With love,

Timeless Elegance - a classic pink wedding editorial from Old Brook Barn (20)

This. This is one of the loveliest shoots I’ve seen in my EXACTLY 10 years of being a wedding blogger. (Because yes, I’ve just realised English Wedding was born on November 16th, 2009 and it’s our birthday week!) It seems the perfect opportunity to share something very special with you all.

The location is The Railway Barn at New Hall Vineyards. The concepts and styling are by lovely Hayley Jayne Weddings & Events, and images were captured so beautifully by Terri and Lori. I adore Jess’s dress – a stunning design from the inimitable St Patrick brand, loaned from Turner & Pennell in Rayleigh.

The key emerging trend for 2019 weddings right now seems to be minimalism – simple styling and elegant touches, with a focus on quality rather than quantity of styling touches! Tables and place settings can be kept beautifully clean with minimal fuss and subtle colours, bridal styling is only subtly hued and florals are soft, lush and green. Simplicity is beautiful; understated is our dream wedding look for the coming year!
