Wedding stationery with a difference – From Sally with Love

Published by Claire Gould on

Somerset based From Sally with Love designs wedding stationery with a difference. They don’t roll out the kind of invites and save the dates you see around you – far from it! I love Sally’s characterful and inventive designs, and I know you will too!

We carefully create beautifully unique designs that wonderfully capture you and your partner and everything you have dreamt for your big day. It might be the hidden dinosaur in amongst the foliage and leaves (as in the example here) or drawing the stunning venue where you and your fiance will tie the knot, or even illustrating the flowers you will have in your bouquet. It is creating stationery that you are over the moon with, that is uniquely you and that your guests will love!

From Sally with Love will be at the Chosen Wedding Fair in Bristol on Sunday the 22nd of October.

Off the Peg Designs

We are extremely excited to be able to showcase our first ever off the peg designs (yay!). With beautiful watercolour foliage and leaves the details of your wedding are added to this lovely design. We have save the dates, invitations with RSVP postcards, table plans, table names, place names and a poster to frame after the wedding with the details of your big day. The range is expanding too so keep your eyes peeled! It is available on Etsy or directly through me.

Nicola and Oliver

This was a design I loved creating. Nicola is a vet and they both adored their two dogs and cat, so we thought we would illustrate them and add them into their invitation! We added in a tractor and some wheat for Oliver, who is a farmer. They got married in the Autumn last year at the beautiful country pub “The Rose and Crown” in Sherborne. So we also illustrated using lots of autumnal colours, the flowers Nicola has in her bouquet and leaves, feathers and a peacock for good measure.

Nicola and Oliver loved the design so much that we designed them an order of service and table plan to match too.

Laura and Ashley

Laura and Ashley came to me asking for a romantic, floral design which had a vintage feeling. We designed them this very floral wedding invitation, order of service, poster, and menu all working to the same design and theme. Our tri-fold invites are a big hit and Laura and Ashley loved the idea of not having any loose sheets, so we opted for this. The invite had the main invitation, a page of details about the day, a cut off RSVP and a wedding map. Like with Nicola and Oliver’s stationery we also illustrated the flowers from Laura’s bouquet, making it extra special and unique.

Wedding Maps

Wedding maps are very popular – when you have guests coming from far away, who don’t know the area they visually sum up a lot of complicated instructions all on one beautiful map. We also illustrate where the ceremony and reception will be and any buildings that are helpful for guests to know – turn left at this pub, for example, so your guests will know what to look out for where. Each is designed specifically to fit in with the style of the invitation designed – so it all flows together beautifully.

The Proof of the Pudding!

Please come down to the Chosen Wedding Fair at the Paintworks in Bristol on Sunday 22nd October, where I will have on display lots of examples of the stationery I have designed. I would love to hear all about the plans you have for your big day and help advise on timings and how to word things etc. Tickets
