I promised you a beautiful shoot from our newest #englishweddingmember Gemma Randall Photography – and it’s going to knock your socks off! This stunner of a shoot focuses on neutral tones with accents of deliciously dark navy and gold. Styling is elegant and romantic, the images are simply breathtaking and the details are exquisite. All images are by Gemma, who worked with a team of fabulously creative local wedding suppliers – they’re all listed below.
With love,
Vicky and Ali tied the knot on New Year’s Eve – and what a celebration it was! Black tie styling, glorious details, everything so wonderfully elegant and with a splash of wow factor to mark the occasion. [I’ve been saving this winter wedding to share with you as I thought we’d be into cooler times by now… but hey, heatwave!] Anyways, I hope this stunning NYE wedding gets you all excited for 2021… let’s face it, I think we’re all done with 2020, right?! Images are by Berkshire wedding photographer Simon Biffen Photography. Simon’s an English Wedding member, and it’s great to share Vicky & Ali’s glowing review with you! Scroll all the way through to read about all of Vicky and Ali’s favourite wedding suppliers, and to see Simon’s epic midnight confetti shot as the New Year came in!
We end the week with a lovely styling inspiration sent in by Sandra from Fabulous Functions UK and Clare of Barefoot Photography. With ombre themed centrepieces and a banquet style table setting, this is traditional styling with an eclectic twist: ombre themed centrepieces and a riot of blooms with copper and gold accents add luxe, and our bride in a Watters gown is just stunning, radiant on her best day ever.
I will leave you in Sandra’s capable hands to introduce the shoot and explain how it all came about. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone, with love,
An elopement is just what I needed right now. Huge thanks to Laura from The Rustic Dresser for this beauty in my inbox today – a timely reminder that LOVE is what life is all about. Weddings are on hold right now; but these glorious images by Westlake Photography will lift your hearts, I just know they will. I’d love to think the future of weddings looks like this – simple, wild and free, pared back and all the more beautiful for it. Stay safe everyone, stay home for now – and dream of a future that looks like this.
Where to begin with today’s stunning shoot? It’s perfect for those of you planning an autumn wedding… but the rich tones are simply glorious and for me this is a look that will work beautifully from late summer through to the winter months. The florals are the absolute star of the show; the styling is rich, opulent and beautiful. Images by Antonia Grace Photography.
My aim was to create something using rich, warm berry and gold tones along with a romantic and alluring moodiness.
