… and then it was July. While I adjust to it being halfway through the summer already (really, though?!) I have the dreamiest style inspiration to share with you. I do like to begin every new month with a breathtaking feature, and today’s comes from the south of France, with some insanely talented UK wedding suppliers.
Morning lovely! Today we have a family-oriented wedding which is as beautifully styled as can be. Gorgeous bride Laura married her love Billy at the Saddleworth Hotel, Oldham. They involved their twins in the day, with daughter Eva reading a poem for the ceremony and bringing a tear to everyone’s eye – the family pictures are some of my absolute favourites. Styling touches are kept simple and elegant in white with foliage detail, and the stunning photography is by Jo Bradbury.

As today is my #lockdownbirthday I wanted to share something REALLY special – this stunning editorial by my lovely friend Jo Bradbury. And as I can’t escape to a French chateau for an idyllic birthday treat in real life, I’m loving that these images take me there virtually!

We are pulling out ALL the stops today to make your Monday as beautiful as a Monday could ever be. Delectable details, divine styling touches and fine art wedding images to fill your hearts and delight your happy eyes!
Now I do adore details. The soft movement of a piece of silk or lace, the gentle flow, like waves, of a torn piece of cotton rag paper – and a stroke of calligraphy. Gently shining jewellery and accessories, the sheer perfection of a delicate bloom or a tendril of foliage escaping from a bouquet: these things make me happy.
I’ve been so very lucky with the collaborations I’ve been asked to be a part of over the last couple of years. Working with talented people like Amy Swann and Jo Bradbury is an absolute dream – between them they transform my calligraphy by surrounding it with beauty. The florals in this blog post are out of this world – Fletcher & Foley we LOVE you!! I will forever be grateful to everyone I’ve had the pleasure to work with – and I hope there’ll be many more collaborations in the pipelines for the future. My calligraphy pens are ready!
