We’ve featured some incredible bouquets on English Wedding in recent weeks – and with Valentine’s Day this weekend it inspired me to put a little collection together to inspire you! I’ve had a little whizz through our recent archives and found these stunning wedding flower ideas. There’s something for everyone – real flowers for every season, in every colour you can dream of. Some of our favourite bouquets are wild and flowing; others neat and pretty. There are bouquets with oodles of foliage; and some with simple blooms and statement flowers. And we’ve picked (pun intentional!) examples from florists around the UK to share with you today. I hope you fall in love with some of these – do Pin away if your Pinterest boards are ready for some floral inspiration!
I do love a lazy Sunday. I even love the rain – it means I can do a bare minimum of cleaning then spend the day snuggling with my man and a book. And a hot chocolate… because y’know, winter! And the cherry on my snuggly little Sunday-cake is a beautiful wedding editorial… that luxury of scrolling through insta, finding a beautiful blog post and diving right in, absorbing all the loveliness and dreaming of a future wedding day. That’s my perfect Sunday right there, and I’m SO HAPPY to be sharing this with you lovelies today. Huge thank yous to our fabulous English Wedding members Jennifer Jane Photography and Keyleigh Marie Weddings for sharing with us. Aren’t they amazing?! Still on a little mission of sharing life’s joyful moments, today we’re wishing a very happy anniversary to this lovely pair! Gorgeous Katie & Jonathan were married on the 10th of August 2019, and their flower-filled, beautiful country wedding is simply perfect. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do!

We came across Jen in a South West wedding magazine and were instantly drawn to her style.

Are you a country girl at heart? Did you grow up in a village, learn about the different leaves at school and grow up loving the English countryside? Then today’s feature is just for you, my lovely!
I spent my own childhood in a small village in the Lake District. Those days were all about playing out in the sunshine, and as I grew up I would explore the country lanes and fall in love with nature. My mum had “The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady” on her bookshelf; now I own a copy of my own. The illustrations capture our native flora and fauna so perfectly; Edith’s words take me back to a place in time…
