Happy Monday lovelies! Did you have a nice weekend? We were in Manchester – had a lovely time at the folk festival on Thursday night, then shopped on Friday and met up with family, and I had a lovely calligraphy workshop on Saturday afternoon. Coming back into Cumbria was nice… it’s always such a relief to see the sea and mountains again after a trip away! My last calligraphy class this year will be on the 7th of December, and we’re going all festive with lovely ideas for gift tags, Christmas cards etc. Do join me – there’s more info here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/christmas-calligraphy-workshop-tickets-49871542125 and as always I’m looking for a wedding photographer to take beautiful pics of the class in return for a massive discount off the ticket price. Get in touch if you can help!

What could be a more romantic setting than the Italian countryside, a monastery no less, set amongst rolling hillsides and with its very own vineyard? The Favari Monastery dates from the 17th century and has been beautifully renovated as a destination wedding venue. For today’s English Wedding feature, the monastery serves as a beautiful backdrop for a group of local wedding suppliers who came together to create a lush, modern wedding style complete with al fresco table settings and a bride and groom just radiant with Italian style!

Happy weekend, lovelies! There’s a definite chill in the air this morning, so I’m feeling the need to snuggle up with my guy, in all our cosiest blankets and throws, supping hot chocolate and – is it too early?! – in front of our new fireplace. The plan for the day is most definitely comfort food and staying toasty!

It feels like the perfect opportunity to share some winter wedding ideas with you. Lovely Katie Rogers Photography sent me this shoot full of luscious velvets and Wild Rubus‘s deliciously textured winter florals. The theme for the day was a rich, velvet palette with a hint of metallic, which works beautifully. The dresses by Wendy Makin and Cymbeline are just divine; and I especially adore the velvety vows books by Elmo Paper Stories.

I am a wedding blogger with vegan tendencies. Eco is a big deal for me, and vegan is a #lifegoal I’m working on steadily (chocolate is holding me back)! My Instagram is half filled with wedding pretty; and half with vegan and organic lifestyle influencers’ feeds. These two things make me so happy… and it’s a rare treat indeed to see my two favourite things come together on English Wedding! Gwenda from Bohotanical – you know I love you, right? With the deepest admiration and respect for THE most amazing team of wedding creatives, let’s have a look at today’s photoshoot, shall we?

Good morning, beautiful. I’m feeling very tranquil right now, having scrolled through all of the wonderful images from today’s feature on English Wedding. This is pure beauty, sophisticated and timeless wedding style for you to fall in love with, take away and turn into your own. The dresses by Kate Edmondson Bridal are divine; the bouquet just fabulous, and those Little Fancies biscuits and cookies the sweetest thing to hit my blogging screen this year! This shoot was styled and planned by Cynthia Adipue from Kimberley Rose Designs, who is here to tell you more. All images are by lovely Hannah Larkin Photography.
