How to add warmth and beauty to create a dreamy winter wedding palette
Happy weekend, lovelies! There’s a definite chill in the air this morning, so I’m feeling the need to snuggle up with my guy, in all our cosiest blankets and throws, supping hot chocolate and – is it too early?! – in front of our new fireplace. The plan for the day is most definitely comfort food and staying toasty!
It feels like the perfect opportunity to share some winter wedding ideas with you. Lovely Katie Rogers Photography sent me this shoot full of luscious velvets and Wild Rubus‘s deliciously textured winter florals. The theme for the day was a rich, velvet palette with a hint of metallic, which works beautifully. The dresses by Wendy Makin and Cymbeline are just divine; and I especially adore the velvety vows books by Elmo Paper Stories.
I hope you enjoy these images – do stay toasty on this blustery day, and we’ll be back tomorrow with a really special wedding I know you’re going to love too!
