There’s something about today’s beautiful wedding which captures the essence of the English countryside so perfectly… it’s in beautiful Dorset, with a quaint church (St Marks, in Talbot Village) and a lovely reception with the prettiest details – paper fans on the wall in shades of gold, and adorable little commemorative pins for all the guests!
Camila is absolutely stunning; Victor looks gorgeous. The love these two share is captured perfectly in the images by our friends at Linus Moran Photography, who are based in Dorset, close enough to the Kings Arms Christchurch to be regular photographers there – and who come highly recommended for their beautiful documentary wedding photography as well as their professionalism and friendliness. How was your weekend? I’ve been working away quietly on calligraphy projects for the summer as well as a very early walk in the mountains on Saturday morning… blissful! I love it when Mondays don’t feel like work though… and today with beautiful Sahiti and Nitin’s wedding on my screens I feel happy, joyful… I really do love my job!
Good morning beautiful! I hope you’re having the loveliest day – and enjoying a little sunshine still! Aren’t we lucky… it’s already been such an amazing summer and we’re still in the first week of July! And of course, this means we’re blogging beautiful weddings full of sunshine for you. Beautiful bride Sarah and her gorgeous groom Iain were married at Mitton Hall in the Ribble Valley. Their day is elegant and contemporary, with stunning blooms and delicious details. What do you think of the sweet pink chair sashes instead of covers? The chairs themselves are refreshingly pretty, I think 🙂 Images are by our lovely friend and English Wedding Directory member Rachel Joyce Photography.
Can you imagine an outside wedding at a working watermill? It sounds blissful… and for Nigel & Jade it really was a dream day. I love the glamour and elegance of their day at Priston Mill, a beautiful venue just outside Bath and Bristol with two gorgeous locations for your wedding and reception – the the barn and watermill are both glorious – and I’m thrilled to say our friend and sponsor Bristol wedding photographer Martin Dabek comes very highly recommended for both, as a regular Priston Mill wedding photographer! Our bride and groom are gorgeous; their day is super elegant with sparkle, their first dance is awesome and you’ll LOVE the last photo in the set…
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re having a happy, sunny day, wherever you are. I actually wrote this yesterday because I’m planning to be on my way down from a big mountain in time for Sunday lunch… which means a dawn start! Eeek! So anyway – these two are one of my favourite couples because they really didn’t conform to the ‘normal’ wedding expectations (and for me that word normal isn’t the most exciting of words, so this is a good thing!) Alice describes their day as ‘unweddingy’ – and this makes me very happy. Safe to say most wedding bloggers are on a bit of a mission to encourage couples to do things their way – and for me at least, wearing something completely different to a standard wedding dress is a brilliant place to start! Needless to say, Alice looks incredibly beautiful; Sam’s gorgeous and together they made their wedding as perfect as can be. Images are by English Wedding Directory member Siobhan H Photography.
