Have you ever wondered how wedding planners and stylists get married? Me too! Today I’m thrilled to say we have all the answers, as lovely Lauren and David are sharing their stunning Wiltshire wedding on the English Wedding blog today. Lauren is the owner of Lauren Alexander Weddings – she’s also an English Wedding reader and has shared some fantastic tips with us in a brilliant interview (which carries on beneath all of the beautiful photographs). Lauren and David describe their day as, “Fun, boozy, eclectic, beautiful, happy, musical and ‘us’.” – which is, for me, everything the perfect wedding could ever need. There are stunning styling touches as well – plenty of DIY ideas and the FUNNEST and most gorgeous wedding shoes! I just know you’ll love this! Over to Lauren…

Morning lovely! Do you have sunshine? I hope so – it’s beautiful here and I’m so tempted to hit the beach for an impromptu lunch picnic right now! Before I do though – something really rather beautiful is about to wriggle its way up your screen and into your heart! Stunning couple Rachael and James were married at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire and their rustic country wedding is full of the loveliest moments and details… I mean, this adorable bunch of humans just make the BEST group shots I’ve seen in a LONG while!

Sean & Charlotte’s Coombe Lodge wedding was relaxed, fun filled and full of love. Their theme of rustic romance in blush, cream and greens incorporated traditional touches: lace, hessian, lots of candles and lots of florals. Charlotte is stunning in an Essense of Australia dress, and Sean wears his military uniform – so today’s wedding will appeal to all of you lovelies who are looking for traditional, pretty and classic styling ideas for your day.

A fabulous tipi celebration in the height of summer. A gorgeous, relaxed and head-over-heels in love couple. Rustic styling, tons of florals, vibrant colours and a party atmosphere. It really doesn’t get much better than this! Howard and Rowena’s wedding venue was the village field in Iwerne Minster, the village where Rowena’s mother lives. By day the field is a football pitch and on a sunny day in August it was transformed with the addition of tipis into their wedding venue! I hope you love this one as much as I do. Huge thanks to Rowena and Howard, and to our fabulous friend and Dorset wedding photographer Robin Goodlad Photography. Do read the groom’s interview below – the story of their day is fantastic! Hey lovelies! I hope you’re having a fabulous week. Is it summer anywhere in the UK right now? We drove from Somerset up to Cumbria yesterday with the car heater on all the way – where’s our sunshine?!! Today though, I have a lovely spring wedding to brighten your screens and lift all of our hearts. Gorgeous couple Chloe & Dan tied the knot in Cornwall, with their two adorable pooches as ring bearers on the day. Their wedding is a DIY affair with 400 (I know, right!!) handmade pom poms (by the bride) instead of confetti, a sparkly fairy light table plan and plenty of rustic touches to really make this a special and personal wedding.
