Here’s something amazing to go with your sunshine today! A colourful, crazy beautiful whirlwind of a wedding full of joy, laughter and love. Rike and Sachin spent two days at Château du Feÿ in France, surrounded by all their best people. As their award-winning wedding photographers York Place Studios put it, “Day one was a colourful Indian celebration, announcing itself with plenty of fanfare, whilst day two presented a characterful and emotional wedding reception.”

This is everything we love at English Wedding. Authentic, joyful, exciting weddings where traditions are what you choose to celebrate your cultures (rather than rules to be adhered to!) The joy in Rike and Sachin’s eyes, and shining from their guests’ grins, is so fabulously real.

I have huge respect for wedding planners. No luxury wedding should ever be without one, and I honestly believe planners are worth their weight in gold. The cost of hiring a wedding planner will vary based on experience, style and approach. We’ve done a little research into how much wedding planners cost – with help from luxury UK and destination wedding planner Elegante by Michelle J. Read on for an honest look at wedding planner prices and helpful tips in finding the best wedding planner for you.

This gorgeous pair won me over completely with their tractors and tattoos – hay bales on a wedding cake painted beautifully with trees and a bright red tractor has to be a first! Chloe and Jonathan broke tradition in what to me is the loveliest way of all: they woke up together on the morning of the ceremony, relaxed and ready to spend their entire day as a couple. I love that. Images from this adorable Cumbrian wedding are by Lake District wedding photographer Mark Battista. More, as ever, on instagram (tap) @englishweddingblog
