A guest blog for English Wedding by Emma Rose Jewellery,
with pieces beautifully modelled by Gillian Cheung

There’s a moment in every wedding day — a soft hush just before the bride walks down the aisle — when time seems to pause. In that precious breath, the back of her gown becomes a canvas for storytelling. At Emma Rose Jewellery, we believe the back deserves just as much love as the front. And so, with hearts full of romance and hands guided by artistry, we introduce our newest collection: Back Drape and Back Drop Necklaces, designed to enchant and captivate.

I love adventurous people, and couples who trust in their suppliers to create something wonderful. Richard and Kyra are both – and their Northamptonshire wedding is all the more beautiful for it. The super lovely couple chose Dodmoor House wedding photographers Sky Photography to capture their day – and it’s amazing. I’ve adored scrolling through every image, and I’ve saved some of my faves to share on instagram later too!

As I write up this gorgeous styled wedding for you today, I’m humming “Black Tie“. Having spent Friday evening watching the incredible left-wing, butch lesbian protest folk singer Grace Petrie in Gateshead, this joyful LGBTQ+ wedding inspiration couldn’t feel more perfect to share with you today. For any wedding photographers reading, please send in your photoshoot and real wedding submissions here!

It’s ok to share a Christmas wedding in May, right? We’re about to fill your screens with oodles of sparkly joy from Georgia & Sean’s romantic Christmas wedding in Kent. The lovely pair were wed in December. Their wedding was elegant and romantic with natural styling touches. This one’s been sent in by our friends at The Ferry House. All of the fabulous images are by Chris Blackledge Photography. (As always, there’ll be more of our top favourites on instagram – @englishweddingblog)

I’m already excited for you. You must be here because you’re going to ask someone to spend the rest of their life with you – and that’s a huge deal. This blog is here to help you plan the perfect moment for your surprise proposal, with tips on including a photographer, and on keeping the moment natural, magical and authentic!
