Good morning lovelies! Today we’re looking at a breathtaking bridal collection by Amsterdam-based designer Karin Rom. The Florentine collection taps into our need for escapism during the pandemic. While the Netherlands was in lockdown, Karin Rom was inspired by fairy stories of princesses locked away in castles; tales of hidden gardens and grand ballrooms and romantic dreams from days gone by. “It’s funny how so many of our ideas about romance were shaped by times when ‘social distancing’ between a woman and her suitor was the only option until marriage. Social distancing used to be romantic!” she laughs.

Pioneering bridal designer Karin Rom is taking the bridal fashion world by storm. The Florentine collection’s fashion-forward bridal gowns reimagine timeless feminine silhouettes, with an added contemporary view on fit, comfort and quality. These sophisticated bridal dresses offer a true elite couture experience for brides with an international outlook and love for fashion.

KYA was co-created with our followers on social media, who helped choose the shape, the cut and the fabrics. This collaborative creation features a deep V cut on the front and back, with a form-flattering fit. Crafted with double layers of tulle and lace, the skirt has a middle slit and gentle train. 3D lace flowers are adorned throughout.

This dress is paired with a stunning tulle robe, adorned with shimmering stones, giving the final look a hint of intrigue.

BLANCHE is a timeless dress. It features a handmade drape corset, romantic sleeves, and a gathered layered tulle skirt with a high slit and intriguing volan, making it a true eye-catcher. This dress is adorned with hand-embroidered lace, speckled with light-catching sequins and dark blue stones.
