I LOVE this. I love it to bits in a playful, gloriously decadent and creative way. It’s wedding styling taken way beyond ordinary; it’s brilliantly fun; it’s all snowy and beautiful and full of joy – and I can imagine the insanely talented bunch of wedding creatives who put this together had the most amazing day ever. Prepare to let your imagination run wild… we’re joining lovely Jo and Hannah from One Curious Dream and heading through our virtual wardrobes right into Narnia…

(but one last thing before you do… remember, if you ever, ever get the chance to be a part of anything like this, just say YES! When I started toying with the idea of curating a styled shoot, it was important to me that as wedding suppliers, we’d have the chance to work on something completely creative, magical, playful and fun!

I always feel that a styled shoot should offer the opportunity to let your imagination run wild, so for this editorial, I took loose inspiration from one of my favourite childhood series – The Chronicles of Narnia, re-imagining how that world might look today.

With an incredible supplier team on board, we aimed to create a world that blended fashion-forward elements with a luxe twist whilst retaining little details that couples could recreate for their wedding.

The ice-white palette, snow, pearls and little touches of silver interspersed throughout the scheme give a gentle nod to winter, and the incredible table floristry by Ivy Floral Events sets the perfect scene for a decadent banquet.

The styling creates a magical feel with place settings wrapped like pretty little gifts in beautiful pearly, chiffon material and complemented by silver-tipped stationery, Narnia inspired favours and crystal tumblers that catch the light. Of course, no banquet is worthy without a stunning cake, and the simplicity and elegance here are just beautiful.

The hair and makeup aim to achieve a feeling of outer worldliness, whilst providing the perfect backdrop for some incredible jewellery and accessories.
