Abi & Chris’s classic, timelessly beautiful St Giles House wedding, with Robin Goodlad Photography
Happy Monday my lovelies! How was your weekend? I’ve been up mountains and wrapping Christmas goodies – it’s been a busy one! Today I’m excited to share another of our fabulous member and Dorset wedding photographer Robin Goodlad Photography‘s glorious weddings. The photography is out of this world. Beautiful Abi & her handsome husband Chris were married long before the pandemic, so this is a stunning (and comforting) look back to the days when we could hug, and throw confetti, and be with all our loved ones. Those days WILL return. Hang on in there, keep planning your wedding and stay positive. With love,

How did you choose your photographer?
We spent lots of time looking at photographers’ portfolios online and were stunned by Robin’s photos and he was also local to the venue. We then met him and felt very at ease and decided to go with him.
Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
Yes we were so pleased. On the day we was very calm and great at capturing photos of moments which is what we wanted. After the wedding he sent us a sneak preview and we were blown away with the beautiful shots he had taken. Looking throwing the whole collection really brought the day alive.
Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?
Picking St Giles House was actually very easy as it’s hard not to fall in love with the venue and its grounds
Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness
We used an amazing florist, Martha and the Meadow and her arrangements are just gorgeous. We agreed colour palettes and style with her and what she put together was more beautiful than we imagined it would be
As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?
Our cake was made by Crumb Factory, it was a semi naked design with three tiers all different flavours of sponge and very delicious. The only complaint I had was a disappointed bridesmaid the next morning when she heard it had all been eaten!
What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?
James Morrison – I won’t let you go
