With micro weddings becoming the trend for the future, I wanted to create an outdoor styled shoot. I wanted to create a vision for couples who think big and to show that having a small micro wedding with social distancing doesn’t mean that you all need to be separate and empty.
I wanted the table to be full of greenery with hints of colour. I wanted to create an outdoor space for a low key wedding, somewhere that there were views.
Micro weddings and social distancing are a huge part of the wedding industry and I wanted to create elements that are possible to do when planning your wedding. Each table would have their own platters and individual wedding cakes would be served on a plate ready to be eaten.
Finding the right wedding venue would be a huge part of the trend, having a venue that can offer small intimate spaces for your micro wedding. Slindon house has this along with some beautiful views, we did the shoot in their orangery which is perfect for a very small wedding.
This shoot is only part one of two features we’ll be sharing on English Wedding from Hire Societies… part two is coming up in a few weeks’ time! Follow our instagram to keep up to date – @englishweddingblog
