I stumbled across Dan and Sophia’s beautiful wedding when we welcomed the lovely White Van Wedding Co. as an English Wedding member. I fell head over heels with the camper, and the atmosphere of this gorgeous rustic wedding – I simply had to share! The video is lovely – it’s by Natasha at Musk Photography and Films – and I’ve included a few stills from the video (which I begged from Natasha!) to go with the happy couple’s interview below!
I hope you love this as much as I do. With love,
Wedding videographer details
Natasha caught so many special moments. Watching the film back a couple of weeks after craziness and excitement of the day had passed really brought all the emotions of the day. It’s my favourite video ever!!!
We were lucky enough to have a friend of the family as well as another photographer on the day. Both we just really loved their style. Natasha in particular got some amazing candid moments.
Were you pleased with your wedding videographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
Natasha was brilliant! She caught moments without us even realising she was there. The memories that she captured really blew us away.
Tell us about your venue – what made this place special for you?
Preston court ticked all the boxes for us. The style was exactly what we were looking for, it’s got that rustic barn feel to it with all the drama and vintage glamour to boot! It was super quirky With so many extra little gems! It’s a really special place!
Did you love wearing your outfits? How was the dress / suit shopping experience?
My dress shopping experience was incredible. I went along to a grace loves lace trunk show in London with my Dad and best friend. I knew my dress was “THE ONE” the second I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I always thought that moment was a bit of a fallacy! My husband’s get up was put together with the help of a stylist friend during a day in London. Mainly from selfridges.
Did you hire a florist? Tell us about any floral amazingness
We used a local friend to arrange our flowers. We went with a soft mixed colour pallet. With the odd pop of stronger colours. Lots of hydrangea and scented stocks. She also made me a beautiful flower crown!
As cake lovers here at English Wedding we’d LOVE to know who made your cake, and how delicious it was?
My super talented cousin who bakes for fun, made our wedding cake for us. It was absolutely delicious. Very rustic with fresh flowers added.
Tell us about any special personal touches, or creative projects you made yourselves
We made all of our table arrangements, log centre pieces and glass jars. We arranged the flowers for the tables the night before. We dressed the venue the day before with lanterns and extra fairy lights.
My Musician uncle and cousin both played an acoustic set for us.
That was really special.
We also opened a bottle of champagne with a sabre!
Also on the day we had a brilliant magician, an ice cream van, a unique photo booth and so many extra touches that made it more personal to us!
What was your first dance song? Why did you choose it?
We choose So amazing by Luther vandross. Then went straight into Never too much by Luther again… big luther fans!! Everyone joined us on the dance floor to that one!
