The beautiful summer wedding of Harriet & Harri! With Howell Jones Photography

This weekend sees the longest day of the summer – and I’ve been so excited to share this glorious June wedding with you lovely lot. Gorgeous couple Harriet & Harri were wed in North Shropshire, a very special place to them both, and chose our lovely friend Warren at Howell Jones Photography to capture their day.

Harriet is stunning in a unique and beautiful Tara Lauren gown From Heart Aflutter Bridal Boutique in East London, while Harri’s made to measure light wool suit is from Mr Start in Hackney, East London. Teamed with a favourite liberty print tie by a maker on Etsy and a simple rosemary + rose buttonhole, he looks fab! Harri’s flower crown completes the country wedding look beautifully.

It’s the flowers that I love most of all about this glorious and joyful day: they were grown by the bride’s parents! Harriet’s Dad grew the majority of the flowers and foliage from seed, with the addition of amazing peonies and roses grown nearby by her brother, and ivy and eucalyptus kindly grown by neighbours. The floristry itself was a group effort led by Harriet’s mum Jane, including long time family friends, Harriet herself and her very creative bridesmaids who did the two flower and foliage installations on planks in the marquee. The golden syrup tins were a memory of her grandad, and is also a family favourite.
