Rustic and Blush Barn Style with oodles of countryside charm

Published by Claire Gould on

Today’s wedding inspiration takes nature’s most beautiful textures and tumbles them together in a beautifully soft cascade of blush and pastels. The simplicity is enchanting; the bridal look is blissfully beautiful. Huge thanks to lovely Beth (I owe you one, sweetie! xx) from Miss Carlysle and Co, who planned and sent in this beauty of a shoot! the glorious images are by Nikki’s Moments. The venue is South Farm and those fabulous florals are by Sara’s Events Flowers.

I will hand over to Beth to tell you more.

With love,

We wanted to make the most out of the beautiful, countryside charm at South Farm with the long driveway leading up to the farm and barns. Preferably making the most out of the outside, to create a magical wedding day, and using the Tudor Barn, which has gorgeous, natural features throughout, creating a natural and relaxed vibe. We used the blush palette to add a sense of romance and elegance into the shoot.

Blush is the colour of caring, sweetness and unconditional love.

Mels Cakes and Bakes worked her magic using pastel tones for the cake which fitted perfectly with the blush pink style, with the use of delicate lace, and a soft touch with the glittery butterflies to create the overall finish. Using the palette colours of blush through the flowers, created the romance aspect, to spread the love around South Farm.

We created our intimate ceremony area inside the Tudor Barn using a balloon arch with blush coloured balloons around one side. We flowed the different sections from the blush in the make-up, and used pink glitter for the eyes.

The idea was to keep the flowers natural and neutral allowing them to fit in well with the theme and style, Miss Carlysle and Co and Sara’s Events Flowers, worked together to create the final look of the table and having the chilled, simple look that the flowers gave.

Having a very simple but effective table setting ensures that the most important aspect will be getting shared throughout the styling. Alina used a combination of dried and fresh flowers, using the blush pinks and golds throughout. Using the eco-friendly vibe, with minimalist creative decorations. Alina accepted the challenge of creating a floating installation and the result showed how much time and effort was put into the shoot, really creating the wow effect. Table setting inspiration, using a ceiling structure over the top table, draping over the top, creating a cloud like feel.
