We’re looking for submissions for the New Year!

Published by Claire Gould on

Hey brides, grooms, wedding photographers… can you help fill the pages of English Wedding for 2020? I’m looking for wonderfully wintry weddings and photoshoots – warmth and candles and fairy lights, snow and frosty colour palettes and sparkles. And as always, EVERY style, size, colour and gender of wedding! And I’d love to have your gorgeous photos all over the blog!

The weddings I love to feature are beautifully photographed, with creative ideas and inspiration to share with the brides and grooms reading the blog. Details are a BIG deal – but it’s about the moments too. You’ll win my heart with stunning close up images, the most romantic couple shots, and unique, new creative decor and styling.

How to submit your wedding for a blog feature

If you’re a bride or groom, please ask your photographer to get in touch. Give them the link to my submissions page.

Photographers, please ask your couple for permission to publish their wedding on the English Wedding Blog before you submit images. Then email me info@english-wedding.com with:

  1. A brief introduction to the wedding. What makes it wonderful and inspiring? Tell me a little about the venue too, and any other suppliers involved in the day.
  2. A link to a Dropbox folder containing 60ish of your most beautiful, bloggable images. Please note I ONLY use Dropbox for submissions; no other file sharing service.
  3. Images should be 900px wide (not longest edge! Even portrait orientation images need to be this width). Please send lots of detail images (flowers, stationery, venue styling) and couple portraits.
  4. I’ll send you a link to my interview form for your couple to complete. (If they choose not to, it’s ok – we can still publish so long as you have their permission.)

I’ll also need your website and social media handles if you’d like us to include these in your feature.

To submit a styled editorial shoot to English Wedding…

Please send me a link to a Dropbox folder containing 60ish of your most beautiful, bloggable images. Please note I ONLY use Dropbox for submissions; no other file sharing service.

Images should now be 900px wide (not longest edge! Even portrait orientation images need to be this width

Please complete all the information on this form (click to download) and save it in your Dropbox as a Word or Pages document.
