Louise & Mark’s vintage wedding at Double Locks in Devon, with Capture Weddings

Published by Claire Gould on

So I think I’ve just about recovered from the bank holiday weekend.. and I have the sweetest, happiest wedding to share with you today!

Louise & Mark’s Devon wedding is vintage with a touch of boho – and tons of excitement and fun! From the moments before the ceremony I was hooked – and seeing Mark carry her down the aisle after they say their vows is just magical! The celebrations really kick in as guests travel together on a vintage bus to the reception venue. It’s a brilliant way for guests to get to know each other and really gets the party vibe going!

Louise’s vintage inspired knee length dress is just perfect for her – don’t miss the first dance part of the video, which makes this bride absolutely SHINE!

As you’ll see from their highlights film below, it was a magical ceremony too at St James church, Teignmouth.

Did you fall in love with your wedding dress? Who was the designer / name of the boutique?

Instantly fell in love with my dress I always wanted a short vintage style dress and i fell in love with the mooshki designs they are so beautifully made and they have a huge variety of short dresses. I purchased mine at the bridal house in Cornwall it was a wonderful experience.

What did the groom wear?

Mark wore dark blue tweed type material suit with a hessian dickie with a matching hessian pocket square.

Words of wisdom: share your best piece of advice for other couples?

It is incredibly difficult not to stress building up to the wedding but on the day everything is in place just enjoy every moment every emotion because it goes so quick and before you know it the day is over.

What’s the best thing about being married?

Sharing the same second name feeling that bit closer but really nothing has changed and we are continuing to be us!

Please could you list your favourite supplier web links for other brides and grooms?
