Then read on… because I’m so excited to be introducing Warren from Howell Jones Photography to English Wedding today. Warren’s images are artistic and creative, thoughtful and emotive – and with every moment so beautifully captured they’re guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and a happy tear to your eye. I’m a big fan – and I’m delighted to be able to share some fabulous images with you today which I think will show you exactly why I think Howell Jones Photography should be on your wedding photographer shortlist – wherever you are in the country!

“I’m Warren and I run Howell Jones photography. I have been photographing weddings for over ten years. I am based in Bristol but that doesn’t mean I only shoot weddings in the South West. I don’t let location restrict my work and something that I love about my job is the opportunity to photograph in some of the most beautiful places you can imagine both in the UK and abroad. I have photographed all over the world from the United States to Europe and from Africa to Australia. I love to travel!

My style of photography is mainly documentary and capturing the many special moments of the day is the most enjoyable part of my job, but I also respect the family photographs, the portraits and the little details. I aim to bring my creative eye in these shots to take them beyond the traditional and bring something extra. An artistic approach is the thread that runs through all my weddings.

Meeting before the wedding is really important to me and I will travel anywhere within the UK to meet up whether it is to photograph an engagement shoot, show you the albums or just go for a coffee.

I do not believe in working to a timescale or a set number of hours. I arrive the day before the wedding and leave the following day to maximise my availability on the big day. My day starts when yours does and I finish photographing when the last song finishes. This gives me the time and freedom to photograph some of the more intimate moments with friends and family while getting ready and before the ceremony and also some of the more fun moments as guests enjoy the party and dancing as the day draws to a close. I capture all the things that make a wedding, the laughs, the tears, the special moments with close family and friends and the little details that make your day unique to both of you.
