Welcome – Hampshire wedding photographer Emily Black Photography
Hey lovelies! Are you having a nice week? I’m a little black-Fridayed-OUT already, is it just me? My inbox is bursting!!! I have so many lovely things to share with you for the rest of this week though, I’m so excited!
Today we welcome lovely Hampshire wedding photographer Emily Black to English Wedding. I’m more than thrilled to have a handful of weddings from Emily lined up to share with you over the coming months – you’re going to love them, as her images are just STUNNING! Emily’s style is modern, natural and romantic – she combines the best aspects of documentary (or reportage) photography with just a little creative direction for your couple shots.
The feel of your photos will totally reflect your day. If your day is full of smiles, laughter and craziness, your photos will reflect this, just as if your day was quieter and more intimate and emotional. I’m there to capture your unique vibe! ~ Emily Black Photography

Emily loves the intimacy and emotion of bridal preparation and will blend in as just another of the girls, while taking beautiful, natural shots of this part of the wedding day. She will capture your ceremony in a hands-off, natural way, and take group photos if you wish – and of course, lovely relaxed couple photos with as much or as little friendly direction as you need.
Emily knows just when to take the best pictures of your guests – during the drinks reception where everyone is enjoying catching up, and as the speeches are made and all your guests are laughing and smiling – or wiping away a happy tear.
Before the evening reception, Emily likes to take more couple shots – it’s usually golden hour when the light is just beautiful, and you’ll both be relaxed and basking in the joy of being married, so the pictures you’ll have from this part of the day will be just wonderful.
Of course Emily will be there for your first dance and to capture a few of your guests’ best dance floor moves! If you’re having a sparkler exit or any other special treats in the evening, she’ll make sure your memories of the occasion are captured for you to treasure forever.
Emily has captured weddings at some of the most magnificent venues around Hampshire and the surrounding counties. Check out some of our favourites from Belair House (Dulwich, London), Devonport House in Greenwich, the beautiful Ariana Gardens in Essex, Gloucestershire’s Stanway House, Sopley Mill and The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House.
