Lizzie and Nilo’s wedding is as beautifully traditional in style as it is epic in the party stakes… and the images are simply, elegantly wonderful. With a lot of Brazilians coming over for the wedding, Lizzie and Nilo wanted a really classical English setting, and the venue was certainly that – lots of oak paneled wood and decorative shields – exactky what they were aiming for.

The thing I love most about weddings is capturing the emotion – I really do love it when people let their guard down and show their true feelings in such an open way – and this one definitely had that. I’m not sure if it was the Brazilian twist to things, but the Groom, Nilo, had no qualms about showing exactly how overcome with emotion he was. It was beautiful to see. Plus they had Brazilian dancers, a magician, Lizzie’s mum sang an opera tune, and Nilo ended up on the drums!

“Kristian, these are so beautiful… and in perfect time too. We were just on our way to the airport with Nilo’s parents and sister when you sent these and crying over the photos was the perfect way to conclude our time together. Thank you for being with us on the day and for taking these wonderful photos but also for carrying my coat, assuring me my hair was okay and rushing into action whenever anything looked liked it needed done! We’ll catch up with you again soon but again, perfect job – well done and thank you with all our hearts.”
