Since lockdown began, I’ve been constantly surprised and uplifted by the resilience of the wedding industry. As so many of you lovely couples have had to postpone, suppliers have been working hard to support your new plans, to juggle availability for 2021 bookings… and all the time facing genuine hardships (because for so many of these indie businesses, this is their livelihoods). So when a photoshoot like this one lands in my inbox it brightens my heart and reassures me: we’ll come back. We can do this. There’s a future for those fiercely creative talents working to make your weddings amazing, and a positive future shining on the horizon.

This gloriously dramatic wedding style inspiration was submitted by our friend and #englishweddingmember Ayshea Goldberg Photography. I love the moody stationery, the glimpses of gold amongst navy and the deliciously dreamy cake colours. The interiors of Glemham Hall are timeless and traditional, brought to life with opulent florals and daring styling touches. The images are stunning – I will leave Ayshea to tell you more.

With love,

Hey lovelies! I’m so happy to be sharing such beautiful inspiration with you this week – I like to think I save the best until last and this year we’re celebrating December in style!! Today’s wedding combines historic elegance with lots of fun touches and a secret theme of Jane Austen – gorgeous bride and groom Bex and John had Jane Austen photo props and did their first dance as the dance from the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice!! How awesome is that? Images are by our lovely friend and sponsor Ayshea Goldberg Photography, who gets the loveliest review from the happy couple (just a couple of paragraphs on…)
