Today’s wedding is another treat; a beautiful celebration with stunning florals and styling – but most importantly for me, with a brilliant sense of humour and some amazingly fun moments. Sarah and Michael were married at Mapperton House in Dorset, and opted for a vibrant colour palette and gorgeous styling touches. The bouquet is a stunner: orange tones and corals alongside blues with roses and dahlia blooms, cornflowers and agapanthus, freesias (I think!) and sweet peas.

Sarah and Michael’s colour palette was cobalt blue and orange – because, in Sarah’s own words, “my engagement ring has a sapphire and my husband and my family are ginger. Therefore, my shoes were cobalt blue jiving shoes, as we love to jive. I also had sapphire earrings to match my ring and a pearl necklace that was my grandma’s who unfortunately passed away when I was young. I also had a beautiful hair piece which matched my hair and the pearls of the necklace.”

I wanted to share a really pretty wedding with you all today – something elegant and graceful, with a wonderful sense of English charm and tranquility – and I couldn’t think of a lovelier wedding than Christie and Ben’s day. Christie is so very beautiful – a Devon bride whose timeless style reminds me of Audrey Hepburn – with Ben her perfectly handsome leading man. They married at Symondsbury Tithe Barn and chose lovely Linus Moran Photography to capture their day.

“On the day, keep making time for each other. Ben and I kept stealing moments where we would find a quiet spot to soak in the view of our wedding, hold hands, kiss and share tales!

I’ve heard people say nothing changes when you get married. I disagree – there’s a monumental shift and it’s a wonderful one. I love being married. I love hearing Ben introduce me proudly as his wife.
