I still love styled shoots – they’re fabulous for first glimpses of inspiration and ideas which will gradually make their way into real couples’ weddings on blogs and in magazines. I publish plenty: I send my calligraphy out to a select few. But when Krysta (For the Love of Weddings) asks for stationery or calligraphy I know the shoot will be insanely beautiful, and I jump at the chance to take part!

Today’s wedding at King’s Weston House is absolutely gorgeous! The little touches Hollie and Jimmy used to decorate tables and entertain guests are just fabulous – and the bride and groom are a stunning couple – Hollie is so very beautiful. Images are by our lovely sponsor and Bristol wedding photographer Martin Dabek. Use the little icon at the top of each image to save to your Pinterest boards – there are SO many ideas to fall in love with here!

Catherine and Florent’s destination wedding in France looks like a dream come true. The gorgeous bride and groom travelled to the south-east of France, to a fairytale venue with views of the distant mountains, for their beautiful, intimate summer wedding. I adore the light, bright colours they used to style their day: mint and delicate pink are so fresh and summery – and the images by English Wedding Blog sponsor Amanda Karen Photography are out of this world.

So here’s something a little different for your Friday lunchtime. Wedding blogs can get a little too consistently pretty… all those white dresses and delicate styling touches… and an occasional reminder that it’s OK to be different is a good thing, right?!

Last Wednesday we shared HBA Photography‘s pretty, boho inspired wedding inspiration feature in bluebell woods. (If you missed it, catch up here.) The same shoot explored a more creative, brilliantly alternative look later in the day, and the behind the scenes film we showed last week hinted at a cape of flowers.

Hey lovely! Today is a little special as we have a bonus feature for you. If you loved this morning’s bluebell woodland wedding inspo shoot, you’ll want to grab a cuppa and snuggle down to see this little treat! If you’ve ever wondered how a photoshoot is made, or what it’s like modelling for one, then this is for you! Nottingham-based Our Wedding Videographers capture all the details in this gorgeous film at Field & Forest – and it’s all there in just one and a half minutes of on-screen pretty!
