I know this year’s been a rollercoaster for all of you – Covid has hit us hard, and we still don’t know how or when we’ll come out of this safely. 2020 sucks! I’ve kind of taken it upon myself to share as many micro wedding related ideas as I possibly can. Small, intimate and cosy weddings are magical, I promise. If you’re planning your day for 2021 perhaps it’ll be very different to the wedding you originally had in mind. But the wedding industry is adjusting: photographers are coming up with special packages for smaller weddings; stationers are creating all kinds of “new date” wedding invites – and today I’m thrilled to be sharing some glorious bouquets especially for intimate weddings. Which is your favourite?
Hey there lovelies. I really don’t know where to begin today’s blog: we had this one planned a few weeks ago, when we expected weddings of 30 guests to be happening by now and for the future. And then we heard the news that the rules wouldn’t change after all. I am SO heartbroken for all of you who were planning a celebration this weekend, or in the coming weeks. If a gathering of 30 of your friends and close family isn’t safe, how is it possible that crowds in pubs, parks and beaches are being allowed to happen? Lovelies, I am desperately hoping the situation changes for you, and the powers that be will allow small weddings soon… in which case, this article WILL apply!
You don’t need 100 or more people to watch him put a ring on your finger. You don’t need the stress of a wedding table plan, huge corkage fees or to spend your day in a crowd of distant cousins. All you really need is you. Intimate weddings with only a handful of guests are my favourite, and beautiful bride Liz and Richard’s day is simply perfect. Don’t you just love that Jenny Packham dress?
