If your spouse to be is out on their bike this Sunday afternoon, then this is for YOU! If you’ve both been cycling today and you’re relaxing after an exhilarating day in the saddle, then you’re going to love this more than anything you’ve ever seen on a wedding blog. Natalie and James – who’s a keen cyclist! – had a cycling themed wedding in August, and incorporated some ingenious styling touches into their day. They chose Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture the day so beautifully! I love the bicycle wheels with foliage on the walls, the table plan with a shelf full of cyclists… actually I love the whole day. And can we skip straight to that cake?!! The beautiful cake was made by Yvonne at Cherry Blossom Cakes and decorated with flowers by Emma at Brompton Buds.
Soooo….. who’s planning to arrive at their wedding venue in a helicopter then? Nope? Hadn’t crossed your mind? It wouldn’t have been on my list either until today’s rather exciting Cotswolds wedding landed on my screen. But oh – what an adventure, and what memories to have from your wedding day!! Laura and Matt really did create an exceptional wedding, with vibrant florals and a stunning colour palette. The helicopter ride makes their day really unique!! Lucky for us, Upcote Barn wedding photographer Martin Dabek went along for the ride and captured every thrilling moment up in the skies with the bride and her dad on their way to the church!
Victoria and Lawrence used the loveliest autumnal touches to decorate their beautiful medieval venue Dartington Hall. It’s the largest medieval house in the West of England and possibly one of the most romantic wedding venues in the South West. They chose to marry in November because they love the cosy touches they could incorporate into their day: log fires and autumnal colours with rustic touches: lots of dried leaves, pine cones, ivy, burnt oranges, candles… and it looks wonderful!
The stunning images of this gorgeous couple’s day were captured by English Wedding Blog sponsor Martin Dabek Photography. Martin is one of the loveliest photographers we know and consistently gets fabulous reviews from his wedding couples. You can discover more from him here:
Today’s wedding at King’s Weston House is absolutely gorgeous! The little touches Hollie and Jimmy used to decorate tables and entertain guests are just fabulous – and the bride and groom are a stunning couple – Hollie is so very beautiful. Alex & Laura’s wedding is in the most amazing ‘venue’ – if we can describe a 19th century transatlantic steamship as a wedding venue! I love their creativity in choosing a space which really sets the scene for a memorable and adventurous wedding day. This is all so gorgeous: Laura is stunning in a shorter length dress and the nighttime photos taken after their reception are wonderfully unique and exciting!
