Oh my goodness, did you see how the world changed last year? I don’t mean the big old general world, I mean the wedding world… which suffered heartache and tears, thousands of postponements and major shifts in how we even plan weddings right now. A happy handful of brave and determined couples went ahead with their weddings on a tiny scale – and micro weddings became a thing. (Which is actually a huge shift in how weddings work – and it’s exciting!)

We have a MEGA wedding blog to share with you to celebrate the bank holiday – grab a cuppa and come join us! “Us” today is lovely Kath and Adam, who married at Wyresdale Park waaaay before lockdowns were a thing. “Us” is also lovely Charlene at Love Gets Sweeter Videography (who I’m proud to say is an English Wedding member) and the fabulous Claire Basiuk Photography. This is an epic, beautiful wedding with a stunning couple, and we’re sharing their wedding highlights video as well as some gorgeous images from their day. Happy Sunday, enjoy the rest of the long weekend everyone!
With love,

I hope you enjoy this heartwarming guest article by Love Gets Sweeter

During this bizarre time we find ourselves in, we are realising how special it is to stay connected with our family and friends. Trying our best to catch up with them over video calls, family zoom quizzes and online parties, and other cool ways to keep ourselves sane and connected. We are really getting creative in how we keep in touch with our loved ones during our time of lockdown and self isolation (who ever thought those would be words I’d write!?)

It’s true that the biggest regret of newlyweds is NOT having a wedding video. (According to Bridebook 75% of couples go on to regret it)!

Not investing in a professional wedding videographer is the no.1 regret of so many couples, but why?

So yes, I (Charlene) am a wedding videographer and this may seem like a totally biased post so let me share my personal experience too.

We nearly didn’t have a wedding video. We were weeks away and I was getting ever so nervous that we would go on to regret not having our very own wedding video.

Hey you lovely lot! I have a really special wedding today – a romantic, gorgeously styled celebration with plenty of wow factor from Inglewood Manor in Cheshire. Beautiful bride Kim married her very handsome groom Tony in Woolton, Liverpool, before heading into the countryside for a fabulous celebration – and our friend Charlene from Love Gets Sweeter captured all the key moments on film!
