Did I mention I’m going to be a bridesmaid at the end of September? There are ten of us – and seven have already bought their dresses! I’m not one of the early birds – I’m enjoying every wedding submission which lands in my inbox and having a really good look at all the maids and where their dresses are from! We’re wearing grey so I especially loved seeing Jess and Mike’s wedding in the English Wedding Bible – my fave bridesmaid dresses so far 🙂

So I’m thrilled today to be sharing something bridesmaidy but totally different with you. I adore the romantic look of these dresses, based on the designer’s signature feminine and bohemian style and incorporating fresh, vibrant and beautiful colour with delicate overlays and slips in a choice of shades. Katya Katya has reinvented bridesmaids and I’m in love with all of these dresses – Paige being a real favourite.

The entire collection is hand-designed in London and beautifully created in their studio, in the most beautiful fabric and colour combinations.

Lizzie and Roddy are such a cute couple, don’t you think? Their day is graceful as can be, from the bouquet to the ballet at their evening reception… I absolutely love this and know you will too. Images are by the amazing Russian photographers Frant & Fifa.

“My wedding dress was the only wedding dress that I really liked the second I saw it on the hanger. A lot of the dresses I tried before I tried on to see what it will look like and to keep an open mind as I was giving various dresses a chance. It was love at first sight with my Katya Katya Rosa Dress and I was just so excited to try it on. I was also absolutely sure that that dress is one of a kind and I have never seen a similar dress in other bridal shops or magazines.

Do you love hydrangeas as much as I do? Those gorgeous handfuls of delicate blue petals have inspired many an English wedding and I look forward to their arrival every summer.  I have the most deliciously beautiful wedding ideas shoot to share with you today. We’re talking dreamy blue hydrangeas in a serene Cotswolds setting – a truly idyllic barn location… and you’ll LOVE this!

Images are by Rob Tarren Photography, and the shoot was styled by Emma from The Flower Girls. The flowers are incredible and those hydrangeas are only the beginning of today’s beauty… there’s gold leaf, divine dresses and the most amazing gardens to inspire your own wedding along a pretty blue theme.

Emma told me, “The Priors Barn at Brockworth in Gloucestershire is a hidden gem. It’s set in manicured gardens and treasured by the owners, complete with its own lake.” It really is an inspiring place… I could lose myself in those incredible gardens as easily as I’ve lost my heart to these beautiful images.
