Hey lovely! I’ve been blown away by the stunning wildflowers and relaxed, boho styling of Chris and Bex’s Devon wedding today. Once again we’re at the fabulous Colehayes Park in Bovey Tracey with their recommended photographer Warren from Howell Jones Photography. You’re going to adore all the floral prettiness – and this is an extra special day because the sunshine played out all day so even the meal was served in the gardens!
My top tip for your wedding is to let your daughter wear her rainbow roller-skates, and skate down the aisle!! Lovelies, this is one of my favourite weddings of the year – gorgeous Katherine and Nick made pretty much everything themselves, and planned a relaxed, informal celebration at Whitemoor Farm with a really individual and unique style. It’s just FABULOUS – you’re going to love all of this! Images are by lovely Devon wedding photographer and English Wedding team member Anthony from Special Day Wedding Photos.
Victoria and Lawrence used the loveliest autumnal touches to decorate their beautiful medieval venue Dartington Hall. It’s the largest medieval house in the West of England and possibly one of the most romantic wedding venues in the South West. They chose to marry in November because they love the cosy touches they could incorporate into their day: log fires and autumnal colours with rustic touches: lots of dried leaves, pine cones, ivy, burnt oranges, candles… and it looks wonderful!
The stunning images of this gorgeous couple’s day were captured by English Wedding Blog sponsor Martin Dabek Photography. Martin is one of the loveliest photographers we know and consistently gets fabulous reviews from his wedding couples. You can discover more from him here:
Morning, beautiful! I have a treat for you today – the prettiest countryside wedding from Devon with oodles of creative inspiration you can take away to inspire your own wedding! Filly and Jim married in Exton, Devon, and celebrated at home. Filly’s dress is just divine… and the entire wedding is so beautiful.

Filly’s stunning vintage dress is from Days of Grace in Budleigh Salterton – their heirloom gowns are wonderful, made from vintage lace and perfect for a country wedding with a twist of boho. I love this! Filly and her girls had their hair done by Tara of Head Hair and Beauty – and they all look amazing.
Genna and Sean’s wedding is so, so beautiful! The venue was covered in flowers, fairy lights and hanging lanterns (all handmade with love), with special touches created on site, made lovingly by friends and family. The venue itself has scenery which surrounded the Ceremony and Reception, making it extra special!
