I thought we all deserved a little treat this Sunday afternoon, so gather round and snuggle up for an extra special dose of wedding lovely. Our fabulous friend Amanda Karen Photography sent in this beauty of a shoot and I’ve fallen for it hook, line and sinker. The styling is exquisite; the colour palette is fabulous. This is a shoot in two halves: the copper dress takes my breath away and I’d love to see more brides wearing such a bold statement dress… but if that’s not for you then the bridal jumpsuit is unique, different and 100% on trend for 2019! Both outfits are by the always fabulous Charlie Brear.

Hello lovelies! Today’s all about the pretty on English Wedding… gloriously soft and feminine pinks with romantic table styling, silk ribbons and a lush bouquet. This palette and look would be wonderful in a contemporary marquee or garden wedding reception, or an orangery with views onto beautiful gardens. Huge thanks to lovely Jenna from Wonderland Invites for sharing it with us – this is so damn beautiful!

When my Instagram friend from the states announced she’d be in the UK to shoot a wedding, I knew it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to work together in person. I messaged Ryann of Ryann Lindsey Photography and she was up for the task!

We decided to push for a London based shoot, and my search began. I was over the moon when Chelsea Physic Garden accepted. As a working garden open to the public, they don’t frequently allow photoshoots; as such, it was an amazing opportunity we were handed by the marketing team there. To compliment the lush greenery of the gardens, I opted for a pink, mauve and white colour scheme which would bounce beautifully off the floral and fauna of the surroundings.

Eva Tarnok is a wedding photographer I love to work with: she’s taken some of the most beautiful images of my calligraphy; she has a love for the kind of pretty which perfectly suits a quintessentially English wedding.

Today’s inspiration is just so lovely: Morden Hall is a classic setting and needs little extra decor. Spring flowers and a pastel cake covered in tumbling, delicate foliage and pretty blooms set the scene, along with my calligraphy. The dress is pure romance… Kate Edmonson has something uniquely beautiful, don’t you think?

Morden Hall is a historic manor house set within a stunning National Trust parkland in South London. It is a beautiful country house carefully restored and renovated and is a popular wedding venue with couples all over London.

Aisha Phillips, wedding planner from Sassy a la mode and Eva Tarnok, a South London based wedding photographer, worked to put together a classical and natural styled shoot.

Your wedding can have luxe styling, romantic florals and pretty details even with a more industrial, city backdrop. There’s something I really love about contrasting an urban setting with feminine decor, and today’s styled shoot is simply fabulous.

This styled shoot was inspired by the growing trend in urban feel weddings in London but with brides wanting to maintain that luxurious and stylish feel. Watercolour touches added softness to the industrial surroundings of Drake and Morgan at Kings Cross through the use of silk linens, stunning stationery and a beautifully water colour painted cake.

The use of herbs again brought a softer feel to the venue but also bought the outside in, something that can be important to brides if the venue they choose does not have its own green outdoor space.
