Hey lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Who else dug out their favourite jumpers this weekend? I’m loving feeling all snuggly in mine today!! We have a lovely week ahead on English Wedding with some gorgeous real weddings lined up, a stunning dress feature and expert tips on floral styling for barn weddings… but first, let’s start the week with something truly beautiful. Richard and Claire married at The Italian Villa in Poole last October. Claire looks super cute in her lovely Galina Couture gown which has to be one of the most amazing dresses we’ve ever seen on the blog! WOW!! The wedding is full of smiles and gorgeous styling which I hope you’ll love as much as I do!
Happy Sunday lovelies! I thought I’d spoil you with all the sunflowers I could find today… aren’t they fabulous?! Victoria and Sandy’s summer wedding is full of glorious sunflower goodness and just makes me smile!!! Plus the bride and groom are both absolutely gorgeous… The wedding itself is lovely, with a relaxed family style. Guests were entertained with lawn games and a pogo stick(!) which provided much entertainment.
Today’s gorgeous and relaxed family wedding took place at the end of August in the countryside of Canterbury. The church was a 5 minute walk from Rosie’s family home where she held the reception. I love how they’ve incorporated Game of Thrones into their day with subtle little details – and it all looks fabulous!
My Dad made the table plan, order of the day and chopped all the wood from a tree in the garden for the centre pieces. My Mum and brother made all the origami name places. We had a naked cake as this worked well with the theme of the day. My very talented Mum made it and it was amazing! Allan and I made all the signage.
Today’s wedding is just amazing – the styling is all whites and greens, a key trend for the year and so beautifully done. I LOVE the florals more than I could even begin to say! Gorgeous bride Emily looked stunning in her beautiful gown by Temperley, with stunning Jimmy Choo shoes. The family pet pugs even wore special flowers on their collars – so cute! There is SO much to organising a wedding, isn’t there?!! And with each little item on your wedding checklist, there’s a small army of sub-items to check too! For example, planning when your band will start to play, or if you’ll need a DJ afterwards, and how all of that ties in with food! (Because as much as we love a dance, we really can’t wait for the meal, right?!) So here are some real couples’ top tips for getting the most from your wedding band, courtesy of our lovely friends at the fabulous Alive Network.
