You may not have come across the “engagement gap” yet: it’s a social phenomenon that’s shaking up the wedding industry, with effects bound to ripple through both couples and suppliers. In short, the pandemic brought our lives and relationships to a standstill, leading to a sharp drop in engagements, followed by a sudden rise. This surge is likely to have a big effect on the number of weddings, and could eventually lead to a shortage of wedding suppliers for a lot of engaged couples!
An artistic and beautiful bride and her handsome husband, surrounded by colour and joy! This wedding is beyond beautiful, filled with vibrant creative styling touches and personal details. Today’s destination wedding is like a dream – or perhaps, three dreams in one! Iphin and Sanjay look incredible, the love around them is tangible, and the images are out of this world. Combining Thai, Chinese and Hindu elements made their wedding truly unique and a beauty to behold. There’s craftsmanship, joy and colour in this wedding, which has a relaxed vibe and details to fall head over heels in love with. Scroll slowly, enjoy the moments and then head over to our insta @englishweddingblog for more from our favourites.

I’m really feeling the love when I scroll through the images of Andy & Isaac’s wedding. These two are absolutely gorgeous, full of character and they’ve written a fabulous interview for their English Wedding feature! With thanks to lovely Mike at Greenhill Photography for his images of this very special day.

Wedding photographer review
We chose Mike as we loved the natural styling of his pictures. They managed to grab the moments that we couldn’t always be around to see and at the same time capture the feel of our big day. We didn’t want too many staged pictures. We wanted to see the pictures and relive the special moments from our day. Mikes pictures have helped do just that.
I’m head over heels for this wedding inspo. It comes from beautiful Derbyshire, combines dreamy colours and is simply stunning. Images are by Tom Hodgson, talented Peak District wedding photographer and a member of English Wedding’s supplier directory. The planning and styling is by lovely Eilish at Peak Patisserie, who created an exquisite cake for the occasion.

All of the details come together perfectly, with Laurenne Hopkins’ floral styling being a huge highlight for me. Dreamy and then some – and there’ll be even more on our insta @englishweddingblog!
