Colour makes me happy – and colourful, cheerful, vibrant weddings make me the happiest wedding blogger in the world! Today we’re sharing Charlie and Harry’s wedding at Eversholt Hall. Their day had a boho feel to it, with gorgeous bride Charlie in a flower crown of pink and ivory blooms with berries, and Harry looking relaxed and summery in a smart blue suit with white tie (a look I’m kind of loving right now!). Pics are by lovely Buckinghamshire wedding photographer Katrina Matthews, who’s very kindly introduced the wedding for us today!
I don’t know about you, but weekends (which include Fridays) are all about music. I start the day with Spotify before cereal, and dance at my desk while I’m blogging…. so introducing our newest English Wedding members Earcandy seemed like the perfect thing to do this afternoon! I love that these guys are a tight-knit team. They know their bands. They know their customers and that guarantees you really exceptional personal service – and a buzzing dancefloor all night long!

Happy Friday everyone! Today I’m sharing a lovely wedding with an important message from beautiful bride Danelle. This gorgeous couple married at Helmingham Hall Gardens at the beginning of autumn, and their day is everything they could have dreamed of: with pretty and romantic styling touches, a stunning dress, pretty bridesmaids and a venue to die for! The pictures by our lovely friend and English Wedding member Ayshea Goldberg capture the key moments and details beautifully – and I love how blissfully happy these two look when they’re together!
Winter is coming… and that phrase conjures up two things for me! The first is Game of Thrones – and me and my guy are rewatching every. single. episode. from the 1st season to the last… we started on Friday and I think we’ll be finished just in time for season 8 in May / June 2019! Winter also reminds me of snowy weddings, snuggly wraps and cosily beautiful wedding styling. So today I’m sharing a truly unique wedding from Lansdown Hall and Gallery in Stroud. Beautiful bride Jess and gorgeous groom Damian chose the venue because it’s very dear to their family, and organised everything themselves: decorations, lighting, DJ, the bar, outside catering, staff, setting up and clearing up. Take one look at their photos and you’ll see it was 100% worthwhile – it allowed them to plan and style their day exactly how they wanted. As well as the venue, highlights to watch out for are Jess’s E&W Couture dress, which is just perfect – and the bouquet of eucalyptus, white roses and pussy willow (my favourite!) by the wonderful Sweet Peony in Cardiff. The fabulous photos of Jess and Damian’s wedding are by UK photographer Jon Turtle, who’s based in Penarth, South Wales.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m surrounded by calligraphy pens and inks today as I get ready for another modern calligraphy class on Friday – but I just had to take a little breather and dive into some wedding loveliness with you this lunchtime. Now I very often talk about English Wedding as a joint effort: it’s not just me here, it’s all of the fabulous creatives whose photos and products you see on these pages that make up English Wedding. And today I’m introducing one of those lovely humans whose gorgeous images make English-Wedding.com such a beautiful place to be.
