I am totally in denial of any gales blowing a hoolie outside my window right now!! Come and join me because it’s SPRING here on English Wedding and we’re filling our eyes with sunshine and flowers… and the stunning wedding of Milly and Nick. They married at Little Glemham Church in Suffolk, and celebrated with a beautiful reception at Glemham Hall in May. Their day was traditional and relaxed, with wild white English flowers and luscious greenery in keeping with the Suffolk hedgerows and pebble greys as they were so close to the sea!
You can hire a country manor, fill it with flowers and spend countless weeks cutting and pasting designs for your invites and table plan… but wedding blogs are here to show you you don’t have to do any of that. You can create a brilliantly amazing and memorable wedding your guests will love without all the bits people expect – just like gorgeous bride and groom Diane and Michael did. I love how they describe their day – the focus was on brilliant food and drink, making sure their guests were looked after, and choosing 3 fabulous venues for their ceremony, reception and evening party. I love it: the whole day looks and sounds just perfect – a wedding blogger’s dream!
Happy Monday lovelies! Just a handful of days to go now until my next calligraphy class in Manchester so it’s a crazy busy week here at English Wedding HQ! Today though, I have the most beautiful celebration to share with you – Lucy & Tim’s gorgeous wedding at 10 Castle Street, an exclusive country house venue in Dorset. Lucy’s Halfpenny London dress is just fabulous, and I love the atmosphere of the day which just comes across wonderfully well in the pics.
Happy Friday lovelies! It’s been a fabulous week here at English Wedding HQ and we’ve plenty of loveliness in store for the rest of the summer too. Have you signed up for our mailing list yet? You’ll be the first to read our new digital magazine if you do – it comes out in September and we’re so excited to share it with you.
Today’s wedding is just stunning – I especially adore the vibrant floral arrangements, and the bride and groom are gorgeous!! Ventnor Botanic Garden is a revelation…what a beautiful location with all those tropical plants… if I was on the Isle of Wight I’d be making a beeline for the place to find out more!
Erika’s dress is fabulously different and she looks amazing – while Justin is equally gorgeous and beaming with happiness (I wish I could hear his speech – the photos don’t do it justice!) So grab a cuppa and find a comfy chair, enjoy this lovely pair’s fabulous wedding pics, and have the most wonderful Friday everyone!!
