Happy Sunday lovelies! I thought I’d spoil you with all the sunflowers I could find today… aren’t they fabulous?! Victoria and Sandy’s summer wedding is full of glorious sunflower goodness and just makes me smile!!! Plus the bride and groom are both absolutely gorgeous… The wedding itself is lovely, with a relaxed family style. Guests were entertained with lawn games and a pogo stick(!) which provided much entertainment.

I’m trying to get my head around the fact that it’s September already.. is it just me?! I’m excited to share some spine tingly pretty autumn weddings and styling inspiration on the blog throughout the month, as well as teaching my calligraphy workshops next week! I have a feeling September is going to be my favourite this year!!

Hey lovely! How are you today? Stay awhile, grab a cuppa because today I have something special… As glorious as wedding details can be, a great wedding photographer is one who can capture the essence of a couple. If you’re not sure what I mean, read on…

This beautiful garden marquee wedding in Hertfordshire is filled with joy and laughter; the images capture not just the personal touches and styling, not only the stunning location and the gorgeous bride and groom. After scrolling through the wedding images I feel as though I know these two. The triumph and laughter as the wedding car (a vintage landcover) shudders gleefully into gear, the happiness as Charlotte’s bouquet is thrust into the air over and over again… this is what I’d want to remember from my wedding.

You, lovely reader, are getting married at the most amazing time – the opportunities for hiring a unique venue are endless. So many places – old theatres, cinemas, museums; buildings filled with history and character – are opening their doors to weddings. As a wedding blogger I love discovering new places to get hitched, and when I can share the experience with all of you lovely lot it makes me so happy! Today we join beautiful bride Najma and her gorgeous groom Jeff as they tie the knot at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. It’s probably the only wedding venue with a touring dinosaur… or is it?! Dippy’s making his way around the UK until 2020, dinosaur fans!

We’re kicking off this week with a gorgeous wedding – all done on a really reasonable budget, but absolutely beautiful all the same! I just adore Jess’s dress – it’s from Monsoon and she looks fabulous, don’t you think? Bridesmaids’ dresses are from Dorothy Perkins, and Tom’s suit is from Next. Together they’re just so perfect – I hope you’ll love their day as much as I do! They were married at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses with a reception at Binham memorial hall. All the images of their day are by lovely English Wedding Directory member Grace Elizabeth.
