Mike & Charlotte’s gorgeous green & white summer wedding, with Richard Skins Photography

Hey lovely! How are you today? Stay awhile, grab a cuppa because today I have something special… As glorious as wedding details can be, a great wedding photographer is one who can capture the essence of a couple. If you’re not sure what I mean, read on…
This beautiful garden marquee wedding in Hertfordshire is filled with joy and laughter; the images capture not just the personal touches and styling, not only the stunning location and the gorgeous bride and groom. After scrolling through the wedding images I feel as though I know these two. The triumph and laughter as the wedding car (a vintage landcover) shudders gleefully into gear, the happiness as Charlotte’s bouquet is thrust into the air over and over again… this is what I’d want to remember from my wedding.
Of course – of COURSE – all the details are exquisite. This is a wedding blog after all – the table plan is brilliant, the cake gorgeous, the flowers decadent, soft and full of texture. I can almost smell the bouquet. Charlotte’s dress by Mikaella Bridal is breathtakingly beautiful – and Mike looks the part along with all the guys dressed to kill: I love the shot of them all together.
There is camaraderie here, and beautiful styling. There’s romance, love and tranquility: that overpowering warmth of knowing you’ve made a promise to the love of your life. And there are more ideas than you can dream of. Huge thanks to our stunning couple and to wedding photographer Richard Skins for sharing their day. You can discover more from Richard here:
