Happy Monday lovelies! Just a handful of days to go now until my next calligraphy class in Manchester so it’s a crazy busy week here at English Wedding HQ! Today though, I have the most beautiful celebration to share with you – Lucy & Tim’s gorgeous wedding at 10 Castle Street, an exclusive country house venue in Dorset. Lucy’s Halfpenny London dress is just fabulous, and I love the atmosphere of the day which just comes across wonderfully well in the pics.
I’m trying to get my head around the fact that it’s September already.. is it just me?! I’m excited to share some spine tingly pretty autumn weddings and styling inspiration on the blog throughout the month, as well as teaching my calligraphy workshops next week! I have a feeling September is going to be my favourite this year!!
Today’s wedding is just stunning – I especially adore the vibrant floral arrangements, and the bride and groom are gorgeous!! Ventnor Botanic Garden is a revelation…what a beautiful location with all those tropical plants… if I was on the Isle of Wight I’d be making a beeline for the place to find out more!
Erika’s dress is fabulously different and she looks amazing – while Justin is equally gorgeous and beaming with happiness (I wish I could hear his speech – the photos don’t do it justice!) Beautiful bride Polly and gorgeous groom Jon married at The Ivy Chelsea Garden – a vibrant space for a couple who are just bursting with personality. Their day is a breath of pure joy – the relaxed and intimate celebrations are all the more stunning for the spontaneous laughter that breaks out in occasional images, and I just love seeing the expressions of the entire bridal party – it’s a day which is filled with happiness, and beautifully captured by lovely Jonny Barratt Photography. Oh, and it’s totally convinced me about veils. Veils are ahmaaaaaazing…
