Today’s gorgeous couple Hannah and Tom had plans for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Sibton Park… and the sun shone until the very last minute, when it poured. Not to be outdone, they brought everything inside and had a cosy, magical ceremony and celebration indoors. I love the smiles, the laughter, the ‘we’re all in this together‘ spirit of the day, and I simply had to share this wedding with you.
You don’t need 100 or more people to watch him put a ring on your finger. You don’t need the stress of a wedding table plan, huge corkage fees or to spend your day in a crowd of distant cousins. All you really need is you. Intimate weddings with only a handful of guests are my favourite, and beautiful bride Liz and Richard’s day is simply perfect. Don’t you just love that Jenny Packham dress?

Joanna and Cajetan’s wedding is a wonderfully sophisticated, elegant celebration with lush winter colours and a real sense of fun. The day focused on giving guests the time of their lives – food and entertainment were key and the images of their day capture every moment so beautifully. Joanna is so beautiful in a bespoke designer dress and I love that this gorgeous couple planned their day together as a team.
Ria and Jordan’s day is so prettily styled with the loveliest spring flowers – their barn venue is one I haven’t seen or featured on the blog before and I’ve fallen head over heels for this place – I hope you will too!
My wedding flowers were simple and pretty! I was showing my auntie one day what I was thinking of doing just in general conversation. (She is not a florist, but we all call her green fingers as gardening is her favourite hobby and she has an allotment!) She suggested I could do them myself so I asked her if she would help and luckily she did! People kept asking all day who my flowers were by! My bridesmaids had simple gypsophila which my auntie also made, I had my bouquet made by Robert in the flower station in North Chingford London. It was just perfect.
Hannah and Terence had decided throughout their planning that they wanted a very relaxed day – they weren’t fussed about formality or traditions, they simply wanted a day of celebration. They managed to do this so well, the whole day felt very natural with real joy. It was a beautiful day, but so cold and Hannah and Terence were real troopers going outside throughout the day so I could do my thing. I loved that Hannah wanted to keep Terence’s jacket on for their portraits – it made it feel completely real.
