Hey lovelies, how are you today? Is it just me or is there something a little exciting in the air? It’s the end of term… summer holidays, and around this time of year I still look forward to 6 fabulous weeks of playing in the sunshine! Oh, also – wedding season!!! Most of you will be getting married in the summertime, so now’s the time to go explore your venues, see which flowers are in bloom, take a picnic and dream of your best day ever – which will be here before you know it! And if you just happen to be in Devon, and you just happen to be looking for a brilliant Devon wedding photographer… then I would like to introduce you to someone I think is pretty damn amazing.

Today’s wedding is gorgeous – elegantly styled with white flowers and tons of foliage, and with a delicious cake table and genius Jack Daniels & cigars table too! I’ve never seen this idea before and I love it so much. But the best thing about today’s wedding is the smooches and the love between beautiful Kayleigh and Stephen. They’re clearly so head over heels in love they’ve completely forgotten about the camera – and it’s such a joyful thing to see!

Victoria and Lawrence used the loveliest autumnal touches to decorate their beautiful medieval venue Dartington Hall. It’s the largest medieval house in the West of England and possibly one of the most romantic wedding venues in the South West. They chose to marry in November because they love the cosy touches they could incorporate into their day: log fires and autumnal colours with rustic touches: lots of dried leaves, pine cones, ivy, burnt oranges, candles… and it looks wonderful!

The stunning images of this gorgeous couple’s day were captured by English Wedding Blog sponsor Martin Dabek Photography. Martin is one of the loveliest photographers we know and consistently gets fabulous reviews from his wedding couples. You can discover more from him here:

I love Rachael & Darren’s wedding – the dress code of black tie for all the guys makes it super gorgeous and I adore the venue – such a perfect fit with the elegant styling of the day! Our stunning bride and handsome groom styled the venue with lush creamy white hydrangeas and roses, candles, sequined table runners and mirrors.

The overall look is fabulously done: it’s elegant and timeless, and the black tie dress code makes it look so chic and decadent – reminiscent of 1920s old Hollywood style! Colour accents are kept really simple with gold and blush styling touches perfectly complementing the glamorous look of the beautiful bride and groom.

Gill and Andy’s wedding is like a dream – the perfect beach location; breathtaking spots for those keep-forever photographs and the prettiest of seaside styling touches. They married at Tunnels Beaches in Devon, and chose Evolve Photography to capture their day and the fabulous Pumpkin & Pye for beautiful florals.

Gill’s bridal separates are exquisite – she knew she wanted a skirt and a top rather than a dress. “I tried on about 20 different dresses before I found a store that had a skirt and a top. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one! The designer was Karen Willis Holmes and the boutique I bought it from was Martin Charles Bridal in Peterborough. I couldn’t recommend Martin highly enough. He is incredibly talented and made my dress fit like a glove.
