Lovely couple Pippa & David had a joyful spring elopement in Dartmoor back in the days when spring was simply glorious spring, and we could all go out and get wed and do all the wonderful things! I wanted to share it with you today as a reminder that normality WILL resume, and that the future can still be more beautiful than ever. Patience, my lovelies – this will pass. So let’s join the happy couple who took spring as the inspiration behind their wedding theme. The sense of joy and optimism at seeing the first green shoots of the season and splashes of yellow daffodils. Their vision was for everything to be fresh and vibrant, offset by white and earthy tones and textures. Their wedding venue Ever After – A Dartmoor Wedding took care of all the sourcing and styling, and Pippa & David’s day is just perfect. So today’s wedding is an absolute DREAM!!! I have fallen head over heels for our stunning couple Daisy & Alex, for the FABULOUS florals by Dartmoor Flowers and the prettiest images by lovely Clare Kinchin Photography.

Daisy & Alex tied the knot at Lakeview Manor in Devon, on a beautifully sunny day in June. Their style is neutral glam, with so many beautifully elegant details, from Daisy’s breathtaking Willowby by Watters dress (from The Ivory Secret Bridal Boutique) to the mini rose gold bauble place card holders and eucalyptus sprig place settings. Oh, and don’t miss the bouncy castle photos towards the end of the post… they are just so uniquely brilliant and Daisy’s face is a picture!

Jenny and Ben’s August wedding is instantly a favourite for me – they’re the loveliest, sweetest couple and their day just rocks my wedding bloggy WORLD!! There are some wonderful ideas I just know you’ll love – aside from the hundreds of pom poms, there’s a mobile gin factory on a VW camper van with jars of spices and copper pots to make your very own wedding gin right there on the day – genius. There are sunflowers and pinwheels in a rainbow of colours, along with fairy lights everywhere, and fabulous vintage style tea length dresses, and GLORIOUS florals – it’s just everything. Jenny looks stunning in her Brighton Belle dress. Ben’s relaxed look gets a huge YES from me: suits are not obligatory for weddings, guys! He looks fab – and more than anything, the happiness between these two is infectious. They describe their day as “a colourful rustic, vintage, craft collaboration with a gin twist!”

So I think I’ve just about recovered from the bank holiday weekend.. and I have the sweetest, happiest wedding to share with you today!

Louise & Mark’s Devon wedding is vintage with a touch of boho – and tons of excitement and fun! From the moments before the ceremony I was hooked – and seeing Mark carry her down the aisle after they say their vows is just magical! The celebrations really kick in as guests travel together on a vintage bus to the reception venue. It’s a brilliant way for guests to get to know each other and really gets the party vibe going!

Gorgeous couple Emily & Harry tied the knot at Sharpham House in Devon last May. Theirs was a wonderfully relaxed, country style wedding with plenty of wildflowers – and truly, the floral styling is breathtaking! Harry’s mum arranged all of the flowers with help from family and friends. Emily told me she worked tirelessly in the run up to the wedding and in particular the day before to make everything look so beautiful.
