Hey lovelies! Let’s dive straight into today’s real wedding – it’s too good to miss! Gorgeous couple Lauren & Duncan were married in July at the gorgeous Merriscourt, Oxfordshire. They had lots of lovely rustic details with flowers and foliage everywhere – and such carefully selected styling elements. Lauren’s dress by Sottero & Midgley (from Once in a Lifetime Bridal) is stunning! “It was as if it was made for me, and I felt incredible on the big day.”
This wedding is making me feel like summertime… and with the rain this morning hammering against the window in my little office, I’ll take that! Images are by lovely Rachel Lou Photography.
It’s really important to me as a wedding blogger that I introduce every feature I share with you. Each photograph, each wedding styling idea is carefully selected for the blog and I like to explain why I love the articles we publish… but honestly today I couldn’t dream of writing a better introduction for you than lovely Laura from The Rustic Dresser has already done! Every detail, every image takes my breath away – the location and the gorgeous images by English Wedding team member Emily Black Photography are just the dreamiest. I can only call this wedding blog gold, and leave you in Laura’s capable hands to read and see more!
Happy Friday everyone! Before I share today’s wedding I have a special offer for anyone who can make it to Manchester next Friday (7th December) – there are a handful of places left at my modern calligraphy workshop and you can SAVE 10% if you book your places today! It’s a festive calligraphy class so lots of fun… it’s for absolute beginners and BRILLIANT for anyone with wedding place names to write or invites to send in 2019! Book your places in my Etsy shop if you’d like to come along!
Hey lovely! How was your weekend? I had a fantastic calligraphy workshop on Friday, followed by two Christmas shopping trips over the weekend… and yes, I’m almost done! We shopped locally in the Lake District and bought lots of gorgeous handmade bits and pieces for everyone. I still have my man to buy for… leaving the trickiest until last!
Today I’m sharing a gorgeous wedding which lovely Simon and Karla from Sky Photography submitted to the blog a few weeks ago. Gorgeous bride and groom Kayleigh and Kieron were married at Bassmead Manor Barns back in the summer (remember those wonderful sunny weeks which seemed to go on forever?!) and their day is just blissfully beautiful.
Soooo….. who’s planning to arrive at their wedding venue in a helicopter then? Nope? Hadn’t crossed your mind? It wouldn’t have been on my list either until today’s rather exciting Cotswolds wedding landed on my screen. But oh – what an adventure, and what memories to have from your wedding day!! Laura and Matt really did create an exceptional wedding, with vibrant florals and a stunning colour palette. The helicopter ride makes their day really unique!! Lucky for us, Upcote Barn wedding photographer Martin Dabek went along for the ride and captured every thrilling moment up in the skies with the bride and her dad on their way to the church!
