Imagine just the two of you, deep in nature and surrounded by lush greens and cascading water. An elopement with the sound of birdsong, truly away from the world. Today’s images are from a styled photoshoot in the Var region of France. They’re a glorious temptation away from the styled, indoor elopements the wedding industry sees as normal – and why shouldn’t we make our promises in a woodland glade with a waterfall? I can’t think of anything more enchanting or beautiful.
Today’s wedding is a blast of colour and joy to remind us all of glorious summer days. The fabulous images by Lake District wedding photographer Hannah Hall capture the love and excitement of this amazing day. Friends and family were all a huge part of Christina & Stu’s celebrations, helping with everything from floral styling (incredible!) to stationery, make up and the wedding cake. And these two are just gorgeous and glowing surrounded by all the LOVE. Scroll slowly, this is a very special wedding to enjoy!

Winter weddings are for me a celebration of love and light. With shorter days and darker evenings, bringing light into your styling will elevate your day. Creating a cosy, welcoming and visually stunning space will make your winter wedding truly unforgettable. There’s no better master of this than Mark Niemierko, leading UK wedding planner and London-based luxury event stylist. He’s a twinkling diamond in our industry, a warm hearted and supremely talented man – and knows a thing or two about styling a wedding in the colder months of the year.
This weekend’s beautiful wedding is Conor & Bea, at Alnwick Tree House. Their English Wedding interview is one of my all time favourites. This gorgeous couple’s honesty and sense of humour is fantastic: they talk fondly of the moments things went wrong, and how these are some of their best memories of their day (and not something you should worry about when planning yours!) Images are by super lovely Newcastle wedding photographer Erika Tanith. Enjoy!
When you’ve looked forward to something for a year and more, and your guests are excited and it’s going to be amazing, why should it all blow over in a flash? Wedding welcome parties are the friendly, relaxed version of a longstanding US tradition: the rehearsal dinner (but, skip the rehearsing and just have fun!) Welcome parties are an excuse to get together with all your favourite people the day before your wedding, so what’s not to LOVE?!
