Life and After: Luxury elopement inspiration, vintage Hollywood style!

Published by Claire Gould on

I’ve been so excited to share this stunning editorial with you! It’s vintage with a sexy twist, oozing with romance with old school red roses – and utterly stunning. Proof that vintage weddings can be glamorous and unique – brought together by a talented group of wedding suppliers in Eastbourne, who took over a lovingly restored independent cinema to make magic for a day. I hope you love this as much as I do! (As always, I’ll be sharing loads more on @englishweddingblog over on insta – including some favourite shots which aren’t on here!

An elopement fashioned on old vintage love, fluffy velvet roses and a timeless era of style. This vintage Cinema styled elopement is what romantic dreams are made of. Bringing back a bit of a vintage/glam vibe into the styling a beautiful 1921 cinema was used as the venue to promote history and add depth to inspire the iconic decade.

An array of deep red fluffy roses was added to create a luxury floristry touch. Our real life couple dressed to match our theme, with our bride draped in a stunning backless white wedding gown matched with long mesh gloves to give an elegant and opulent style. The groom matched with stylish Hollywood era suit. Paired with an old Hollywood glam style of makeup to tie in our theme.

Our stationery was designed in an old cinema style to bring in our table setting and draw attention to details used focusing on what our theme was dedicated to. This was all composed to create a luxurious elopement with room for any kind of budget. Simple yet effective.
