Elegant Romance and a stunningly beautiful wedding dress at Thicket Priory
Today’s wedding style inspiration is just fabulous – the dress steals the show, it was Jen’s actual dress from her wedding to Elliott in 2019 – a custom design based on a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown, brought to life by Nicole at Elise Designs. Jen’s childhood hobby was designing wedding dresses and this was her dream dress – I think we can safely say it’s ours too?!

The venue was the perfect setting for this luxury shoot, the venue has been so lovingly restored and marries the old and the new perfectly. We used two of the stunning bedrooms for our bride and groom to get ready in and these turned into some of my favourite images.
The design created by My Pretties UK incorporates shades of grey teamed with white and green, giving a classic design a modern/contemporary edge.
A big emphasis on florals with the impressive floral column and the most beautiful bridal bouquet.
Bespoke stationery and cakes were created by local Artisan wedding suppliers to complement the theme.
Our stunning real couple Jen & Elliott Foxton were such a pleasure to work with and I think they portrayed the romance of the shoot with a timeless and glamourous love.
With flawless bridal makeup and a sleek updo, Jen looked every inch the Disney Princess, which she actually used to be! The dress was a remodel of Amelie by Maggie Sottero. Jen redesigned it herself and then Nicole at Elise designs brought it to life.
