Let’s start all of our Saturdays with something romantic and beautiful, shall we? Today’s feature comes from The Elvetham, and was sent in by Nicola Rowley Photography. It features our lovely English Wedding member Cynthia at Oui Madam Bridal Atelier.

 

 

The Elvetham is a magnificent Hampshire country house with 35 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens. Photo opportunities are everywhere at this stunning wedding venue, with a variety of quintessentially English, quaint and luxurious locations to enjoy. Having hosted royalty over the decades, the Elvetham is renowned for quality and luxury events. Today’s bridal shoot shows perfectly how a few beautifully designed, carefully curated pieces can combine to make the most elegant and impressive wedding style. The flowers, cake and stationery are all simply wonderful – and the dress is divine!

Cynthia, the owner of Oui Madam Bridal Atelier is a talented bridal designer with a fabulous history in the fashion and wedding industry working for Alexander McQueen and Victoria Beckham, amongst others – she’s also a super lovely lady who I don’t doubt has some thrilling stories to tell! As a couture wedding dress designer, Cynthia makes only 20 or so dresses each year, and stocks a small range of ready to wear dresses by designer Donna Salado in her Berkshire bridal boutique. The bride in today’s blog post wears Donna’s beautiful Poppy dress from Oui Madam – a beautifully constructed ivory Mikado ballgown with beaded lace bodice plunging into a low v-neck back and a softly pleated generous back train.
